For the Fieldwork in Chiangmai, we traveled to Nong Tao village to an in-depth interview with Siwakorn Odechao taking part in the rice and fish bartering project to collect additional information from the perspectives of Karen people in this project. He

Fisherfolk has suffered the challenges for their groups divided into the disputes of arable land with government authorities, the invasion of sacred places from the capitalists, quality of education for children, infrastructure, and healthcare system in their community for decades.

Mr. Samruay Phadphon and Ms. Phimonphan Sakitram described the timeline history of Hug Muang Nan Foundation, including vision, core value, and working process over the past decades. They stated that coaching is the heart of the learning process from old generations to new generations. Additionally, mutual trust is also an essential social
capital driving the community to the goal and dealing with their challenges

Ms. Preeda Kongpan illustrated the information of rice and fish barter project that is the presentation of the cultural uniqueness of indigenous group, particularly in the fisherfolk and the hill tribe, which has been lacked acknowledgment and awareness of their oppression in every dimension for decades. Not only is the purpose of this project resonated with the commons capital in collaboration to solve the shortage of food among them in the Covid-19 outbreak
